Understanding and Preventing Sextortion with AMAZE & THORN - Day 1

Facilitators: Dr. Rachael Gibson (Advocates for Youth/AMAZE) and Kelbi Schnabel (THORN)

This 2-part session offers families, educators, medical and mental health providers, and other youth-serving adults with the knowledge, awareness, and skills to prevent and navigate an instance of sextortion. Day 1 participants will be given a broad overview of the current research on sextortion and learn the first steps of prevention. Watch day 2 to learn learn how to respond to sextortion, including recommended reporting protocols, as well resources sharing how to heal from an instance of sextortion.
