Little kids have big questions. amaze jnr. brings parents age-appropriate sex ed resources about talking to kids ages 4-9 and fun videos to share with your children.
A note from our expert
I’m Debbie Roffman. I’ve taught human sexuality education to students in elementary, middle, and high school for over 35 years, and written books and worked with tens of thousands of parents on how to talk to their kids about sex and relationships. From my experience as an author, consultant, and sexuality teacher, one thing is clear: sexuality education is not something we can cover in just one semester of health class in middle or high school, or in a series of disconnected “talks” with our kids. It has to be an ongoing conversation, and it has to start early.
Maybe you’ve seen the great series from AMAZE, which explains complex subjects like puberty, sex, and consent through fun, animated videos for kids 10-14. Now I’ve partnered with AMAZE to produce a series of videos for parents and their children ages 4-9, because we know that little kids have big questions.
amaze jnr. is comprised of a series of videos and guides to help parents talk to their children about sex and sexuality, and a set of adorable age-appropriate videos for parents to watch with their children ages 4-9 to get the conversations started on sometimes tricky topics like Where Do Babies Come From, Our Bodies Are Private, and Learning About Gender.
I’m proud to partner with AMAZE on these great new videos and give parents the tools they need to have healthy conversations with their naturally curious young children. Thanks for watching.
All the best, and most of all, ENJOY!
Debbie
