Justine Fonte Keynote: Comprehensive means Intersectional

At the center of a smear campaign for providing medically accurate and developmentally congruent sexuality education in schools, Justine Ang Fonte, keynotes this year’s AMAZE conference to share her story and lessons. Justine will address the need for schools to partner with parents and assert who the experts are in the classroom along with her recommendations on establishing a strong network of like-minded colleagues to lean on and heal with.

Justine Ang Fonte is the child of Philippine immigrants and a nationally-recognized intersectional health educator, speaker, and consultant. She received her Master’s in Education in Teaching from the University of Hawai’i and her Master’s in Public Health in Sexuality from Columbia University. She was recently featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Business Insider, and NPR for her notable teaching career in sexuality education.
